Zifra, the Battery-free numbering system has won the German Design Award in the Category ‘Excellent Product Design – Office’.

Zifra is the innovative numbering system for all rows of chairs. A specially developed technology means the digital display only requires power for display changes. The benefit is that the chairs do not have to have built-in batteries and cables since the control pulse comes from the remote control. You simply have to walk past the chairs and the sequence of numbers is automatically transferred. The display is impact-resistant, waterproof, maintenance-free and guarantees a long operating life.

Zifra II receives AIT Award at Orgatec fair 2014

Casala received an AIT Award in the category Architecture + Office, for the new innovative numbering system Zifra II. The distinction is assigned for the intelligence and user-orientation of the numbering system. The system is solidly integrated into the unit and shows the user relevant and recognizable information instantly. The AIT Award was handed out by the jury on Tuesday 28^th October at Orgatec in Cologne.

Zifra II; innovative versatile display options
Zifra II follows on from the successful numbering system Zifra I. The new innovative numbering system is now available with even more functionalities in a larger format. Besides displaying seat numbers, Zifra II also offers the possibility of displaying row numbering and company logos. The efficient and battery-free system of Zifra I has been maintained. Meaning Zifra II is also maintenance free and ensures a long life cycle.

The AIT Innovation Award Architecture + Office is awarded by a jury of renowned architects and designers. The award is recognition for high quality products that in some extent, correspond to the needs of architects. It focuses on the importance of the quality of the architecture.
