Introduced in 2014 PicoSign was the first battery operated, WIFI updated Eink display with a battery life of more than a year.

Amsterdam city council asked for electronic nameplates, where the name of the participant of a conference automatically appears on a nameplate when entering credentials – login – for the meeting.
Project was managed by mounting PicoSign WIFI updates displays in the table and have it connect with the conference system in cooperation with Dutch AV integrator Avex.

MpicoSys enables AV integrators with epaper display system like PicoSign for visitor information like in Ludwigsburg, nameplates in Amsterdam and door information at Cortellucci Vaughn Hospital (Canada).
In 2019 the Kulturzentrum Ludwigsburg decided to stop printing the events at the center and go for electronic information for visitors – enabling easy update at any time of day.
The system applied consists of a wall of 7 x 31.2" Eink displays – POE updated, replacing large printed posters – as well as 24 x 13,3" Eink displays – WIFI updated – installed next to meeting room doors showing easily updated event information.
