Reducing environmental footprint

When it comes to powering our devices, we prioritize solar energy whenever possible. However, we understand that solar may not always be feasible. In such cases, we offer rechargeable or primary batteries as alternatives.

Primary or rechargeable batteries?

Our preferred choice is Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries, which are not only highly efficient, as they charge also in below zero temperatues but are also 100% recyclable. This ensures that our products do contribute to a circular economy, reducing waste and environmental footprint.

While primary batteries are an option, we only utilize them when specifically requested by the customer. We prioritize sustainability, and primary batteries, although convenient, contribute to chemical waste and are not recyclable.

Rechargeable batteries, particularly lithium-ion (LiIon), offer compactness and ease of fitting. However, they fall short in terms of recharing in below zero temperate and recyclability, they are a challenge for 100% recyclability.
